Annual sports day
The annual sports day of Lokpriya Providentia International School was held yesterday on 10th February 2023, for all junior and senior students respectively.
All the players participated with full enthusiasm and devotion. The event started with the National Anthem and oath by players. There were two final matches held yesterday. The first was the basketball match between team Unicorn and team hippogriff. In which all the players played very nicely and with too much devotion to the respective teams. But the winner's Crown was secured by team hippogriff. The second match was the KHO KHO final. This shows the good physical strength of the players and the winner's Crown was on team Unicorn's head.
Along with these matches, there were many other races and support events held during the last 3 to 4 months for students of nursery to standard 9th like Balloon burst, Ring race, hurdle race, sack race, three leg race, obstacle race, backward relay race, etc... In these competitions also students Showed much affection for their roles as a sports person.
Also, there was a prize distribution ceremony in which nursery to 9th students received medals and certificates from our honourable Raksha Ma'am, Principal Khushboo ma'am, and Other teaching staff...As every year, we also give house trophy to best house. Considering all the co curricular activities and sports, every house is given points and maximum points scoring house wins the house trophy. This year UNICORN house has left all 3 houses behind and won the Best House Trophy which was given to whole house members, house masters and house captain by Raksha ma'am and Principal ma'am. All over it was fully joy filled day for all of us...
